SmartHeartScore is an interactive patient Risk assessment tool that allows a large number of patients to be assessed quickly and easily for their likely hood to develop vascular problems such as heart disease, diabetes and kidney disease.
SmartHeartScore not only assesses non-modifiable risk factors, such as age and gender. Crucially, it also takes into account modifiable risk factors such as diet, exercise, and alcohol consumption, changes of which can have a major impact on a patient’s health.

- Previous Medical History (History of rheumatoid arthritis, chronic renal disease, atrial fibrillation, diabetes and hypertension)
- Self-assessed Ethnicity
- Body Mass index plus Hip & Waist ratio
- Total Cholesterol (including full breakdown – HDL/LDL/Triglycerides using Cholestech LDX)
- Glucose
- Systolic and diastolic blood pressure (Taken twice, and both results reported back to GP)
- Heart Rate
